Jecheon City plans to provide various discount benefits to digital tourism resident card holders.
Local resident discount benefits that have been provided to Jecheon citizens, such as a 3,000 won discount on the Cheongpung Lake cable car and Chungju Lake cruise Cheongpung ferry usage fees, will also be applied to digital tourism resident card holders.

(Jecheon = Yonhap News) Reporter Kwon Sang-sang = Jecheon City, North Chungcheong Province, announced on the 5th that it will begin issuing ‘digital tourist resident cards’ from the end of this month.
The digital tourist resident card is a system introduced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization to promote the inflow of tourism residents in areas with declining populations, and can be issued at every corner of Korea website (korean.visitkorea.or.kr).
Jecheon City plans to provide various discount benefits to digital tourism resident card holders.
Local resident discount benefits that have been provided to Jecheon citizens, such as a 3,000 won discount on the Cheongpung Lake cable car and Chungju Lake cruise Cheongpung ferry usage fees, will also be applied to digital tourism resident card holders.
Additionally, additional benefits such as a 5,000 won discount on Jecheon tourist taxi fees and a 3,000 won discount on Jecheon city tour fees are also planned.
