직업훈련 생계비대출The Vocational Training Living Expenses Loan is a project provided by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to reduce the burden of livelihood for unemployed and irregular workers so that they can focus on vocational training and find employment.
1) Expanding the loan limit for vocational training and living expenses to Korean food
If you take one vocational training course of more than 140 hours, you will receive support of 3 million won per month, up to a maximum of 15 million won for 5 months, at a low interest rate of 1% per year. The loan limit has been expanded from the existing 10 million won to a maximum of 15 million won by 3 million won per month until June 30. Even those who received up to the existing loan limit of 10 million won can receive additional loans as the limit has been increased.
2) Eligible for vocational training and living expenses loan support
3) Income conditions:
<80% or less of median income by household in 2023>
3) Loan conditions and repayment method
4) Loan-eligible training course (140 hours or more)
Since it is impossible to add up vocational training hours, you must complete a course recognized by the Ministry of Labor of at least 140 hours per course to be eligible for support. You can minimize the out-of-pocket burden incurred during vocational training by checking whether you are eligible for support after consulting with the Employment Plus Center. Please note that if you cancel a course after the training has started, a penalty may be incurred on your National Tomorrow Learning Card.
To receive job training, you must first have a tomorrow’s learning card. To apply for education and training, you must apply for a ‘National Tomorrow Learning Card’ at the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s HRD-Net
5) How to apply
Application period: You must be participating in training for the loan as of the application date, and the remaining training period is 15 days or more.
There is a way to apply online by accessing the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Network or by visiting a branch of the Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service. When applying online, please prepare a joint certificate in advance.
