One of the most frequently used messengers is KakaoTalk. Today, we have organized all methods of recovering the deletion, hiding, and blocking of KakaoTalk friends. If you look at the list, sometimes there are a lot of people who don’t know who they are. So I often do lists.
However, when you want to delete a KakaoTalk friend, there is no function to delete it right away. After hiding or blocking, you can delete it completely from the list through management.
The Galaxy and iPhone methods are the same, but there is a slight difference in how to hide/block the first time. Now, I will show you how to delete KakaoTalk friends.
On Galaxy, if you long press a friend, a pop-up will appear.
In iPhone KakaoTalk, swipe the person you want to delete as a friend to the left, and hide/block appears.
Hide literally means you can’t be seen in your friends list, but if they send you a message, you’ll receive it. Therefore, if you want to delete KakaoTalk friends, please hide them first. If you do not want to receive messages at all, you must block them, and if you delete them from the block list, you will be able to receive KakaoTalk messages again.
And if you unhide it, you will no longer see it in your entire friends list, but it will still appear in your hidden list. So, you can clear it once again through stash list management.
Then, I will show you how to manage after hiding/blocking in KakaoTalk.
Go to Friends settings by clicking on the gear in the upper right corner.
Then you can manage hide/block friends here.
If you want to delete them from the hidden list, select Manage hidden friends.
And if you press Manage, you can recover KakaoTalk friends again, and you can also block and delete them. If you want to completely delete KakaoTalk friends, please click the delete button here as well.
And tap OK. If you delete it like this, even if the other party’s number is registered, it will not be added to KakaoTalk. However, you can receive messages sent by the other party.
If you do not want to receive the call from the other person, you can ‘block’ from the beginning.
Even after blocking, you can restore KakaoTalk friends. Similarly, go to settings gear – manage blocked friends.
Please select Manage. The message is already blocked. Here you can even set your profile to private/public and unblock them.
By the way, if you choose to unblock, you can add it again right away. However, if you click Cancel here, it will not be restored, and KakaoTalk will be unblocked and you will be able to receive messages from the other party.
I blocked someone because I really didn’t want to be contacted. It wasn’t that I could cancel unblocking, it was canceling friendships..! So there was a complication of having to find another person and block them.
So, if you just don’t want to be contacted, don’t touch them anymore and put them on the block list forever. It’s not difficult and anyone can set it up. Follow the parts marked in the picture carefully.
