Google account (ID)
There is no limit to signing up for Google accounts, so you often sign up for multiple Google accounts. However, it is recommended that you delete any unused Google accounts to protect your personal information.
Also, if you delete your Google ID incorrectly, you can recover your Google account for a certain period of time. You can delete and restore it by referring to the method we will tell you today.
How to delete Google ID

To delete your Google ID, go to the Google (www.google.co.kr) homepage via the shortcut.
Click the account icon on the right side of the homepage’s main screen and select the Google ID you want to delete. If you don’t see the Google ID you want to delete here, select ‘Add another account’, log in, and proceed to delete your Google ID.
Select the Google ID you want to delete and click ‘Manage Google Account’. Here, you can delete it by going to the ‘Data and Privacy Protection’ menu and clicking ‘Delete Google Account’.
* Please check whether the necessary contact information is saved in the Google account ‘Users and sharing’, and also check whether there is any necessary personal information before proceeding to delete the Google ID.

After verifying the Google ID password you want to delete and verifying your identity, you can check the contents to be deleted. After confirming, check the agreement and click ‘Delete Account’ below to complete the deletion of your Google ID.
How to recover Google account

To recover a deleted Google account, click the account icon on the main Google homepage and click the ‘Add another account’ menu. To recover the Google account you just deleted, enter your ID and password and you will see the information “Deleted Account” and click “Next” to proceed with the Google account recovery.
* Please note that the Google account recovery period is only available for one month after deletion.
Once Google account recovery is complete, go to Google account management and check whether existing information has been properly restored.
