What is the Tomorrow Learning Card?
It is a government-supported policy to support the development of vocational skills throughout the lifespan of young people, job seekers, incumbents, reemployed workers, workers (employees), and reemployment seekers. For reference, the Lifelong Learning Voucher and Tomorrow’s Learning Card are similar, but are operated separately based on the differences between the Worker Vocational Skills Development Act and the Lifelong Learning Act.

Who can get the National Tomorrow’s Learning Card
National Tomorrow’s Learning Card can be issued to university students
Tomorrow’s Learning Card can be issued to employees and university students. In particular, the eligibility for issuance of the card has been expanded from “graduation candidates” to university students in their third year of study. University (graduate) students with “less than two years left until graduation” are also eligible for issuance.
Of course, unemployed people, workers, special type laborers, and self-employed people can also apply.

Excluded applicants
However, there are some excluded groups that are not eligible for the program.
People over the age of 75, university students with more than two years of classes remaining until graduation, self-employed people with annual sales of more than 150 million won, special type workers with a monthly wage of more than 3 million won, and “employees of large-scale enterprises with a monthly wage of more than 3 million won but under the age of 45” are restricted from issuing the card.
Most workers and university students will be able to apply. Self-employed and specialty freelancers are restricted.

Support Amount
Within the scope of support, 45% to 85% of the training costs are covered by the government, and if you exhaust your 3 million won account, you will receive an additional 1 to 2 million won depending on your income level.
The subsidized amount can range from 3 million won to a maximum of 5 million won.

The validity period is 5 years from the date of account issuance.
Tomorrow Learning Card Training Subsidy Requirements
Criteria for differential application of training subsidy
During the training period, if the attendance rate is 80% or more for a unit period and meets one of the following requirements, a training subsidy of up to 116,000 won per month will be paid.
National flag occupation training courses, general and specialized courses, and 4th Industrial Revolution leading manpower training courses are fully supported regardless of actual training costs for one time only.
The 110,000 won subsidy is available for training for more than 140 hours, but it is applied differently depending on the unemployed, TC recipients, self-employed with voluntary employment insurance, young people, and middle-aged and elderly unemployed.
Requirements for Tomorrow’s Learning Card Training Subsidy
Eligibility Requirements
Unemployed people attending training courses for 140 hours or more, insured people working less than 15 hours a week, and labor subsidy recipients are eligible.
In addition, those participating in the National Employment Support System Type I, those in the National Employment Support System Type II who fall under the low-income category (including certain groups), and insured persons who are self-employed (up to 360,000 won per month) are eligible for support.

How to replace a lost card
