국민카드 재발급When using a Kookmin Bank check card, it may be necessary to reissue it due to loss or expiration. Debit cards can be issued by banks and credit card companies, but reissues can only be issued by credit card companies.
There is a check card that can be reissued at a bank. In the case of a check card that only has deposit and withdrawal functions, you can apply for reissuance at Kookmin Bank. However, Kookmin Card is in charge of reissuing check cards that have payment and deferred payment transportation card functions.
Occasionally, since the check card linked to the account was applied for and issued by Kookmin Bank, there is a misunderstanding that it is possible to apply for reissuance at the bank.
When applying for a check card reissuance, there are times when it costs money, and there are times when it does not. In the case of a reissuance fee (fee), a cost is incurred when the card is reissued due to loss or damage, and there is no reissuance fee when the card is replaced due to expiration.
▼ Note: Check card reissuance cost (fee) for each bank
– IBK Industrial Bank of Korea 2000 won / SC Standard Chartered Bank 2000 won
– Hana Bank 1,000 won / Woori Bank 1,000 won / Nonghyup 1,000 won
– Kookmin Bank and Shinhan Bank do not charge reissuance fees. Therefore, if you get a Kookmin Bank debit card reissued, the fee is free.
– The cost of reissuing a check card is free if the card company has its own brand, and a fee is incurred if used in partnership with BC Card.
– Depending on the grade of each bank, the reissuance fee may be exempted or returned depending on the usage performance.
※ In the case of Kookmin Card, no fee is incurred only when reissuing with the same credit or check card. Cards with different designs or colors are not counted as identical cards. You can inquire at the application stage whether or not the debit card you are applying for will incur costs.
