If you share your Netflix account with multiple people and do not want others to see your viewing history, you can delete your Netflix viewing history. Let’s find out where and how to do it.
1. Access Netflix and click the three dots button in the upper right corner to enter the [Settings] screen.
2. When the settings screen appears, click [Account Information].
3. A new Internet window will pop up and the account information screen will appear. If you click on your account, [Viewing History] will appear. Please click.
4. Click the [Hide from viewing history] button, which looks like a static image, to the right of the content you want to delete. I will try to erase my golden baby.
5. If you want to delete all records of that profile, scroll all the way down the screen and click the [Hide All] button.
No matter how much I search, there is no screen for deleting viewing history on the mobile app. You can delete your viewing history by going directly to the address in the account settings window that opens on your PC.
1. Go to the Internet window of your phone (Chrome, Naver, etc.) and enter https://www.netflix.com/YourAccount in the address bar. A login window will appear. Once you log in, you will see the settings screen.
2. Scroll down, click on the account, go to viewing history, and delete the viewing history in the same way as deleting it on PC above.
If you want to restrict viewing for children or do not want to share their viewing history with other users, you can set a profile lock. You can think of it as setting a password for your profile.
As shown above, when the profile lock screen appears after selecting ① profile lock, enter your account ② login password and ③ set a security lock number with a 4-digit number.
After setting up the lock, you will be prompted to access the account and enter the PIN number, then the lock setting is complete.
You can easily delete your viewing history and lock your profile, but I posted this because it seems difficult to find on the Netflix screen. I hope this helps you enjoy Netflix wisely.
