논산훈련소 내자녀찾기Finding My Child at Nonsan Training Center

As a parent, nothing is more worrying than losing your child. And that’s exactly what happened to me when my son enlisted in the military and was sent to the Nonsan Training Center.

I arrived at the base feeling nervous and unsure of what to expect. The sprawling compound was filled with soldiers in uniform, making it difficult to identify any one individual. I approached a group of officers and explained my situation, and they were kind enough to provide me with guidance.

They advised me to go to the Administration Office and check the list of trainees to find my son’s name and unit. From there, I was directed to the barracks where his unit was stationed. After walking through a maze of tall buildings and a sea of green uniforms, I finally spotted him standing with his fellow soldiers.

The relief at seeing him safe and sound was overwhelming. We embraced and I could feel the weight lifting off my shoulders. My son was doing well and had adapted to his new surroundings. We spent a few hours together and caught up on all that had happened since his enlistment.

As a parent, I couldn’t be more proud of what he’s doing for his country. I left the training center with a sense of pride and a deeper appreciation of the sacrifices our servicemen and women make every day. And I knew that if I ever needed to find my child at Nonsan Training Center again, I would have the guidance and support of the dedicated officers and staff.
