Use your old smartphone (air system) as a home CCTV!
How to use a smartphone air system
The picture above is the smartphones rolling around in our house.
For one reason or another, I searched the Internet to see if there was a way to use this empty phone as a free phone that I have not used now, and I thought that it would be easy and good to use it as a home CCTV, so I would like to share the information.
1. Preparation
All you need is two cell phones.
First, you can prepare an old phone to serve as a home CCTV and a new phone to act as a viewer.
(Old public phones must be connected to Wifi so that the video can be transmitted to the phone that will act as a viewer.)
2. Install the app
Regardless of iPhone or Android, search for “Home CCTV” and install “Alfred CCTV” on both smartphones.
This is an important point here ~~ If you log in to the same account on both smartphones, pairing is performed.
You can skip over why we chose the Alfred camera.
If you have logged in with the same account, click the upper part as shown in the image on the right to select whether to use it as a camera or a viewer, and the app installation is simple.
If you press the gear wheel on the home screen, there are more settings, so you can choose the way you want.
3. Use as home CCTV

Alfred Home CCTV
As in setting No. 2, I implemented home CCTV by selecting an old smartphone as a camera and a new smartphone as a viewer.
You can watch videos taken on an old mobile phone directly with the viewer.
If you charge it using the cradle and power cable, you can shoot for 24 hours.
4. Closing
Alfred CCTV can be used for free, but has a low quality + 30 second recording limit + 4-5 cell phone limits.
Therefore, if you need euros, you can refer to the image above and upgrade.
If you are worried about children and pets at home, try using it for free and if you like it, you can switch to a paid service.
Overall, I liked it very much because it was easy to install and I could use the free phone I was playing with.
If you need motion recording or high-definition video, then it would be nice to use the euro version.
That’s it for today.
