First of all, to summarize the conclusion of the capital gains tax installment payment,
1. Download and proceed with Hometax’s smartphone app, Sontax & Tax Payment Mobile Giro.
2. There are 3 types of payment methods: account transfer, card payment, and simple payment. Credit card interest-free installment payment is also possible. However, an additional payment agent fee (?) is incurred when paying by credit card. Credit card 0.8%, debit card 0.5%
3. For mobile payment, you must have a joint certificate (formerly public certificate), and you must bring the certificate from your PC to proceed.
I don’t know about Android, but on iPhone, I can’t even download the financial certificate of my main bank and register it as a joint certificate of Sontax. Naver, KakaoTalk, and Pass joint certificates are not working. Ha..🔥🔥 (I can log in, but I am blocked from payment.)
4. If you open the mobile Giro app again, sign up for a membership in mobile Giro, and click the integrated utility bill inquiry to proceed with payment, payment will proceed without the need for a joint certificate.
(iPhone users are recommended to do this earlier.)
*Hometax is used for receipt confirmation (?), and actual payment can be made with one mobile Giro app.

You can inquire about the tax to be paid by going to Hometax even if you apply for capital gains tax on behalf of the securities company and you do not receive a separate notification by the time the income declaration is completed.
