Worknet is an employment information site that provides various employment-related services such as job information and occupational psychological testing.
However, I think the main purpose of applying for worknet jobs is to pay unemployment benefits and apply for the Tomorrow Learning Card. I also recently registered for a job search to apply for the National Employment Support System.
In order to receive government assistance, you must prove that you are currently unemployed, even though you intend to work. To do so, you must register for a WorkNet job search.
Access the Worknet homepage, register for membership and log in. When logging in, use the KakaoTalk, Naver, and PASS apps to proceed with simple authentication.
Click the ‘Manage Job Application’ button right below the logged in account.

In order to register for a WorkNet job search, it is essential to write a resume.
4-1. Click “Resume Registration” in Resume Management/Job Application on the left menu.
4-2. Click the “Create Resume” button at the bottom and fill in information such as academic background, desired salary, and desired job group.
It is not necessary to write a self-introduction letter for those who apply for a job to apply for unemployment benefits, tomorrow’s learning card, or the National Employment Support System.
However, if you are registering for a job for actual employment, please meticulously write your self-introduction letter.
5-1. Click the “Register Self-Introduction” button in the Resume Management/Job Application menu.
5-2. Click the Create Self-Introduction button. Select the desired item from among various items and enter the contents.
If you are applying for a job for the first time, you can skip straight to step 7. However, if you have applied for a Worknet job in the past, this process is necessary.
This is because if your resume is too old, you will need to set the newly created resume as your default resume. If you have modified your existing resume, you can go to step 7 as well.
6-1. Click the ‘Manage Resume/Coverage Letter’ button in the Resume Management/Job Application menu.
6-2. Select the newly created resume and click the ‘Set Default Resume’ button.
6-3. Since the self-introduction has been upgraded, I will reset it together. Similarly, after selecting the newly created cover letter, click ‘Set default cover letter’.
This is the final step. After clicking the job application button, just enter a few more pieces of your job application information and you’re done.
7-1. Click the Worknet job application button on the left menu -> Click the Worknet job application button in order.
7-2. You will need to enter personal information such as whether the worknet is open, when you wish to seek employment, and whether your career has been discontinued. Some of you might be wondering if you can make it private regarding whether or not to disclose the worknet.
When I applied for the National Employment Support System, I kept it private and wrote “There is a company I want to work for” as the reason, but I was selected. After completing the application form, click the Job Application button at the bottom.
If you proceed in the order of login->job application management, a screen similar to the image below will appear. Click the ‘Print job search registration confirmation’ button.
Click the printer button at the top to print or convert to pdf.
Q. I want to modify or cancel my Worknet job application. What should I do?
A. Log in -> Manage job application -> Request cancellation of job application.
Q. How do I change my job search wishes and salary?
A. Log in -> My Page -> Resume/CV Management and edit the resume set as the default resume.
Q. I pressed save after writing my resume/job application, but there is no action. what should I do?
A. This can happen if you set the browser to block web page messages. Please try again after deleting the browsing history (cookies) of each browser.
