The word in transit is not synonymous with the word that the shipment has departed.
It is a story that started from IKEA’s warehouse.
The estimated delivery date of IKEI does not provide a specific time when it will arrive.

In fact, I waited all Sunday.
Even at 8:30 PM, it’s until 9 PM, so you’ll come.. while saying…
But as I said earlier, it’s “expected”!
In the end, it didn’t come on the 26th, and on the 27th I went to the IKEA site again.

Perhaps, being in transit means that it is being transported from the IKEA distribution center to a courier.
If it is not furniture, IKEA will send it by courier.
For delivery, CJ Courier is used.
Courier shipping costs are 3,000 won / 5,000 won / 8,000 won by size.

However, when I clicked Track through the delivery company, it was not found even at dawn on the 27th.
I was very curious about the delivery time. Since Chuseok was over, I wondered how late it would be because orders were likely to be pushed back.
So, I tried to contact the 1:1 customer center on the IKEA site.
But as expected.. I just talked hard with the chatbot and taught it to look up the delivery details introduced above.
That’s how I thought there was no way to know when to ship, and the moment I was about to give up!
A text message arrived from CJ Courier at 14:42,
Item delivery comes from 15 to 17!
And at 16:00, IKEA delivery was completed.
IKEA delivery came perfectly.
without missing anything!
But.. it would have been nice if you kindly told me when to come to the IKEA site..
It was a bit disappointing that I couldn’t predict when it would come.
In most cases, it will arrive on the expected date, but I am very curious about when it will arrive after the holidays like this…
It would have been nice to have a little bit of a delay notice, but there wasn’t even this.
(I was actually wondering if it was lost or not)
Also, it is very inconvenient to have to enter the order number. In the end, after looking up a few times, I memorized the order number. ;;;
By the way, if 4 boxes are 8,000 won… The shipping fee doesn’t seem expensive at all!
