So today, I will explain ‘how to delete Instagram ID’ in an easy way.
The procedure is complicated compared to Korean sites, but if you follow the photos, you can easily request deletion.
1. Access ‘Instagram’ and go to your account.
2. Go to ‘Menu at the top right (icon with three underlines) > Settings at the bottom center’.
3. Go to ‘Settings > Help > Customer Center’.
4. Select ‘Customer Center > Account Management > Delete Account’.
5. There are two ways to delete an Instagram account: ‘temporarily deactivating’ and ‘deleting the account completely’.
* If you want to take a break from activity for a while, temporarily deactivate your account to make your photos, posts, and profile private, and you can reactivate (public) at any time.
* If you want to delete all registered photos, videos, likes, and comments and even lose your ID, you can delete your account. For security reasons, Instagram cannot arbitrarily delete an account. Therefore, to request deletion, you must log in to your account and enter your password.
6. If you leave Instagram, you should be aware that you cannot sign up or add an account with the name (nickname) you used before when rejoining.
To withdraw, go to the ‘Account Delete Page’ written in blue in the middle of the description.
7. Choose a reason for deleting your Instagram account. (I said I made a second account.)
8. Enter your password and select Delete at the bottom.
There are many reasons for deleting, but the reason why you created a secondary account is the easiest way without entering a detailed reason.
9. Instagram account deletion is not immediate and requires a period of deletion. Complete withdrawal will be made one month after the request date.
One month is a grace period after the application for withdrawal, and if you want to cancel the application for withdrawal and recover your account again, log in with the account before one month to recover your ID (deleted Instagram account).
I was a member who only glanced at it for a short time, but as the time I stayed on Instagram got longer, I decided to delete it before I fell in love with it, so I decided to leave. I can’t withdraw right away, so I’ll have to put up with it for a month.
