#MY check card
I am currently using the Kenne Card 2, which combines the K-Bank check card and Naver Pay.
It is a check card that returns 1.2% of the card payment amount and 2.2% of NAVER Pay points when registering the card on NAVER Pay and purchasing NAVER Shopping.
I thought the benefits were good when it was first released, but it was discontinued :(
I use a K-bank check card for almost all of my living expenses, and I also use Naver Pay, so I usually accumulate points between 12,000 and 15,000 won.
Other credit or debit cards usually offer discounts, but they give you points equal to the amount you paid, so it feels like you’re getting a little pocket money 🙂
The expiration date of the card is still about a year, but… I looked around to see if there was a card that gave better benefits among the K-bank check cards.
Currently, there are only two check cards at K-bank, the Plus check card and the KT membership cashback check card, but I don’t use KT carriers, so I passed and looked into the Plus check card:)
In addition to the physical card, the Plus Check Card can be applied for through mobile devices.
I still use a physical debit card without using a mobile card at all. I think mobile cards are vulnerable to impulse purchases, so I have no intention of making them in the future 🙂
Take a look at the benefits of the PLOS Check Card:
First of all, it becomes 0.3% cashback for all affiliates at home and abroad, and if you use it at a specific affiliate, you can receive a special cashback of plus 3%.
Special affiliates include delivery apps, gas stations, department stores and outlets in addition to Coupang, Curly and E-Mart, which are mainly used.
Cashback is subject to conditions, not unconditional accumulation.
The maximum amount of cashback per payment is KRW 1,000 and is provided only once per brand per day.
The limit amount varies depending on the performance of the previous month. When calculating the previous month’s performance, college tuition, apartment management fees, gift certificate payment amounts, various fees, transportation card usage amounts, etc. are excluded.
With the Kenne card I am currently using, the point calculation is as simple as a percentage of the payment amount, but the cashback benefit of the Plus Check Card is somewhat difficult to calculate, although it is possible to benefit from it.
If it’s annoying to calculate, I think it would be better to just apply for it, use it for a month, and compare the amount of cashback, but I’ll just keep it with KenneCard for the time being.
I’ll wait and see if a check card with better benefits will be released 😀
