Customers who wish to apply for this promotion can select ‘All Payment Type’ cashback to receive the benefits, while customers who wish to maintain the existing Toss Bank check card benefits can select ‘Brand Type’ cashback and enjoy the benefits.
Any Toss Bank check card customer can freely choose between all payment types or brand-type cashback benefits once a day (up to 5 times a month). Customers can freely choose according to their consumption patterns, and the cashback benefits that have been changed are reflected the next day. Even though it is only one card product, it is meaningful in that you can enjoy different benefits depending on how you choose the cashback benefit.
Customers who choose cashback for all payments can receive immediate cashback benefits every time they make a payment at all domestic and overseas affiliated stores. A 100 won instant cashback benefit is provided for payments of 5,000 won or more per transaction, and 1% immediate cashback is provided for payments of less than 5,000 won. There is no separate limit on the cashback limit, so the more you spend, the more money you can get back.
Branded cashback is the same as the existing benefits of the Toss Bank check card. You can enjoy specialized benefits in a total of 8 areas (coffee shops, convenience stores, fast food, movies, desserts, taxis, public transportation, and subscription services). Once a day, an immediate cashback benefit of 500 won is provided for payments exceeding 10,000 won per area, and 100 won is provided for payments less than 10,000 won per transaction.
Toss Bank noted that card products that always provide benefits are still chosen by many customers, regardless of the industry in which they make the payment. This promotion represents Toss Bank’s efforts to eliminate the inconvenience of customers who have to check whether they can receive benefits every time they make a payment.
Of course, the existing ATM cash withdrawal fee exemption benefit applies to all payment types and brand types. Domestic ATM fees are completely exempted, and for overseas ATMs, only the withdrawal fee ($3 per transaction) is exempted.
Any Toss Bank check card customer can change the cashback benefit, regardless of whether they have a new or existing card. Benefits can be easily changed through ‘Check card > Settings > Change card benefits’ within the Toss Bank service. The newly introduced ‘All Payment Type’ cashback promotion is scheduled to run until the end of August.
A Toss Bank official said, “This is a promotion prepared to expand customer choice in the summer vacation season when spending increases,” and added, “We hope that the Toss Bank check card will be useful in customers’ consumption lives.”
