2024년 벚꽃축제Jinhae Gunhang Festival, one of Korea’s representative cherry blossom attractions, is holding its 62nd Cherry Blossom Festival this year.
Jinhae, located relatively in the south of the Korean Peninsula, is a place where many people visit from all over the country because the cherry blossoms bloom earlier than Seoul and Chuncheon. Last year, a total of nearly 4.5 million travelers are said to have visited during the event period.
The 2024 Jinhae Gunhang Festival opens on March 22 and will be held for 11 days until April 1.

The Yeoju Heungcheon Namhan River Cherry Blossom Festival, the representative festival of Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do, will be held for three days from March 29th to March 31st.
It is a great place to enjoy the numerous cherry blossom trees spread out along the Namhangang River, and traffic will be restricted during the event period.
In addition, it is a place where you can have fun as there are photo zones, performances, experiences, agricultural specialty products, and food booths under the starlight at night.

The Cherry Blossom Festival will also be held at E-World, Daegu's amusement park and representative attraction, from March 16th to April 7th.
Under the name of ‘E-World Blossom Picnic’, you can enjoy abundant cherry blossoms along with the largest nighttime cherry blossoms in Korea.

The Seoul Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival will be held for 5 days from April 5th to April 9th.
It is a place where you can feel the brightness of spring while walking along the lake path where cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and with Lotte World nearby, it is also a good place to take pictures of cherry blossoms with Lotte World in the background.
Additionally, events such as busking and flea markets will be held during the festival period.
The Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival is already a famous cherry blossom spot in Seoul, with a whopping 2.33 million people visiting during last year's festival.
The Cherry Blossom Festival will also be held from March 22nd to March 24th at Hwagae Market, located on the border of Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do.
The cherry blossom road that runs from Seomjingang River in Hadong, Gyeongsangnam-do to Ssanggyesa Temple is also called ‘Hadong Sipni Cherry Blossom Road’ and is a walking path of about 4km.
The Ssanggyesa Temple Cherry Blossom Road is a famous attraction in the Gyeongnam region, to the point where it is considered one of the representative festivals of Hwagae Market.
During the festival period, vehicles are restricted and travel is limited to walking paths, so comfortable walking shoes are a must.

In addition to Seokchon Lake, a cherry blossom festival is held every year at Yunjung-ro Cherry Blossom Road in Yeouido, a representative cherry blossom spot in Seoul.
Yunjung-ro is located in the most central area of Yeouido and has about 1,700 cherry blossom trees planted along a 1.7km walking path.
You can enjoy bright spring flowers in the middle of the city, and it is a great place to visit by public transportation such as subway and bus.
The 2024 Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival is scheduled to be held in Yeouiseo-ro from March 27th to March 31st.
