In 2023, the Han River Outdoor Swimming Pool and Water Playground will be open from June 23 to August 20. It will only be open for a total of 59 days, and as I briefly explained above, the Mangwon and Jamsil pools will be open from 2024.
The outdoor swimming pools of the Han River are Ttukseom, Gwangnaru, Yeouido, and Jamwon Han River, and Yanghwa and Nanji are divided into water swimming pools.
The hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day, and are also available on weekends and holidays. It is said that it is always open unless there is a special situation such as a typhoon.
The admission fee is 3,000 won for children, 4,000 won for teenagers, and 5,000 won for adults for outdoor swimming pools.
In the case of the water playground, only Yanghwa and Nanji are applicable, 1,000 won for children, 2,000 won for teenagers, and 3,000 won for adults, and children under the age of 6 can use it for free. In order to use it for free, you need to show documents such as health insurance card or a copy of your resident registration before entering.
Multi-child happiness card holders, people of national merit, and people with disabilities can get a 50% discount if they submit documents to prove the fact before entering.
One thing to note is that you should wear a hat like a swimming cap for clean water quality management.

Ttukseom Hangang Park Swimming Pool

The Ttukseom Hangang Park swimming pool is adjacent to Ttukseom Amusement Park Station on Subway Line 7, so it is easy to access by public transportation.
Its distinctive feature is the running water pool found in the water park, so if you have a tube or a life jacket, you can leave your body in the running water and have fun. And it has a 4-meter-high aqua ring and tanning ground.
Yeouido Hangang Park Swimming Pool

In addition to the aqua ring, which is filled with cool water, Yeouido Hangang Park Swimming Pool operates a variety of water play programs such as large slides, air bounces, and barrel rings.
It is not easy to access the subway right away because you have to come out of Exit 1 of the National Assembly Station and move. There are many people who have to access by bus, taxi, or private car, so please check the address carefully.
Gwangnaru Han River Park Swimming Pool

The Gwangnaru Han River Park swimming pool is a good place for families, couples, and friends to enjoy lightly, with water-type combination playgrounds installed in some cases even if there are no large facilities.
Jamwon Han River Park Swimming Pool

The pool at Jamwon Han River Park is large and divided into adult pool, youth pool, and baby pool. It is reminiscent of a mini water park with airbounce, slide, and barrel.
Nanji Han River Park Water Playground

Nanji Han River Park Water Playground is different from a swimming pool. It has a lower depth than a swimming pool and is in the form of Infinity Pool, which provides the closest view of the Han River. There is also a fountain in the background of the Han River, so it is a great facility for families to enjoy.
It is located about 500m on foot from Nanji Hangang Park’s 2nd parking lot.
