From free insurance to support for celebration products
The Seoul Metropolitan Government recently launched ‘Abandoned Animal Safety Insurance’ with DB Insurance, and decided to implement a safety insurance support project for companions who have adopted abandoned animals. This insurance guarantees liability for treatment costs, including skin diseases and oral diseases of animals, treatment for injuries, and damages caused to companion animals owned by others or others.
If you adopt an abandoned animal, you can sign up for free and receive insurance benefits for one year. From this year, insurance coverage has been expanded not only to abandoned dogs but also to abandoned cats.
Abandoned animals can be adopted at a total of 13 institutions/organizations, including the Seoul Animal Welfare Support Center operated by the city and animal protection centers and adoption centers operated by autonomous districts, or public-private partnership abandoned animal adoption centers.
