The Samsung Pay transportation card can be used for both debit cards and credit cards.
Please note that the Samsung Pay transportation card function is provided by the Samsung Pay app itself, and you cannot receive the card’s transportation card benefits.

1. After launching the Samsung Pay application, go to the Samsung Pay homepage and enter the transportation card.
2. When you enter the transportation card menu, you can choose between T-money and cash.
After choosing between T-money and cash ratios, you can choose postpaid or prepaid. Please note that there is a fee if you choose to pay by mobile phone.
3. After choosing between postpaid and prepaid, you can choose the card you want. At this time, the card of the selected financial company must be registered in Samsung Pay.
Depending on the financial institution, there may be a fee, so please check before choosing a card.
4. After selecting a card, agreeing to the terms and conditions, and verifying your fingerprint or password, a transportation card is issued.
1. How to use Samsung Pay transportation card: NFC setting
The Samsung Pay transportation card is an NFC-based transportation card.
Therefore, NFC must be set to card mode or basic mode in the mobile phone settings.
Since the basic mode consumes more battery, you can set the card mode and keep it on.
NFC settings can be turned on by touching NFC on the top menu that comes down by lowering the top bar. You can set card mode, basic mode, and off by touching several times.
2.. How to use Samsung Pay transportation card: Transportation card terminal tag
You do not need to run the Samsung Pay app to use the Samsung Pay transportation card, and the card is recognized even when the phone screen is turned off, so just bring your phone to the transportation card terminal without running the Samsung Pay app.
Rather, please note that the transportation card is not recognized when the Samsung Pay app is turned on.
1. Samsung Pay Transportation Card Precautions: NFC Settings
As explained above, you need to turn on NFC to use the Samsung Pay transportation card.
2. Notes on Samsung Pay transportation card: USIM
Since transportation card information is stored in the USIM, it cannot be used in case of damaged or unsupported USIM.
You must use the USIM in your name to use the transportation card.
3. Samsung Pay Transportation Card Precautions: Use the same card for getting on and off
In order to transfer, you must use the card you used to get on when you get off.
When getting on, you must use your Samsung Pay transportation card to tag the transportation card terminal, and when getting off, you must tag your Samsung Pay transportation card to the terminal when getting off.
