I personally recommend three Korean dramas that I enjoyed watching.

This is a story about what happens when Cha Moo-sik (played by Choi Min-sik) takes over a Philippine casino. He had never done anything in Korea, but he runs away to the Philippines due to a certain incident. With his excellent improvisation and tenacity, he gets involved with a chairman he meets there and enters the casino business. However, he suddenly becomes a fugitive due to the chairman’s death. I thought a lot about how scary ‘money’ is while watching the drama. Oh Seung-hoon (played by Son Seok-gu)’s persistent pursuit and Cha Moo-sik’s shameless acting showdown are really worth watching.
There are 2 seasons, 8 episodes per season, a total of 16 episodes, and each episode is about 55 minutes long on average.
When it was aired, it was really hard to wait because 2 episodes were released per week,
but now, viewers can enjoy it all at once without waiting!
Disney Plus
This is a drama that makes your heart pound with the story of an undercover detective. Personally, I felt the charm of actor Wi Ha-joon through this drama. And there was one actress who really stood out, and I was really surprised to learn that actress Kim Hyung-seo was the singer BIBI. I had only heard her songs, but this drama was the first time I recognized the celebrity BIBI. She was a multi-talented person.
The Worst Evil is a story based on drug investigations in 1995. It’s about what happens when a police officer enters an organization to crack down on drug criminals. It was pitiful for the detective who became confused about his true self as he became assimilated into the organization. I also felt anger toward the police organization. It’s a drama that I watched in an instant because it was so immersive.
It’s a total of 12 episodes, with an average of 60 minutes per episode.
Disney Plus
The number one spot was obviously ‘Moving’, which was a hot topic in 2023. It’s based on a Kang Full comic, and the storyline is very solid. With Ryu Seung-ryong, Han Hyo-joo, and Jo In-sung as the main characters, there were many new faces that I saw, so it felt fresh throughout. Although the amount of screen time wasn’t that long, it was nice to see Ryu Seung-beom and Yang Dong-geun act for the first time in a long time.
This is a story about children living in the modern world with hidden superpowers and parents who have lived hiding painful secrets from the past. It is a superpower human action series that confronts a huge danger that transcends time and generations.
It has a total of 20 episodes, with an average length of 40 minutes per episode.
