What is city gas
LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is a colorless (transparent) liquid obtained by refining natural gas collected from underground gas fields, liquefying it at -162℃ and compressing its volume by about 600 times. This liquid is vaporized through a vaporization facility and supplied to consumers through pipes in a gas (gas) state, which is called city gas. (Source: Seoul City Gas Co., Ltd.)
Normally, I don’t have to contact the city gas customer care center, but in order to inquire about the bill for this month or to request a city gas connection when moving and a city gas shutoff when moving, you must make a request to the local city gas management customer center.

In case of moving out
You must apply in advance to the customer service center in your jurisdiction 2 to 3 days before moving out. When a gas disassembly engineer comes, he checks the gas meter and issues a bill until the time of disassembly. You can pay the bill for the amount of the usage fee through account transfer, etc. By the way, when you move out, be sure to prepare a stopper for the gas pipe. In my case, I did not keep the cork stopper well when I moved in, so when I moved out, the cork cost was charged separately when I blocked the cork.
In case of transfer
In the case of moving in, if you make a reservation for the moving-in service at the local customer service center, an installer will visit you the next day. Also, after moving in, it is a good idea to check in advance whether the previous resident has not paid gas bills so that there is no disadvantage to you.
