소상공인 새출발 희망 프로젝트Deputy Prime Minister Choi made the remarks while meeting with heads of major public institutions on this day to inspect the implementation status of the ‘Comprehensive Measures for Small Business Owners and Self-Employed Persons’.
The meeting was attended by the Small Business Market Promotion Agency, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Small Business Corporation, Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation, Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service, Korea Asset Management Corporation, Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, and Korea Federation of SMEs.
At the meeting, each institution shared detailed implementation plans for each department, including debt adjustment, employment/re-entrepreneurship linkage, and the ‘New Start Hope Project’, which supports recovery.
First, it was decided to supplement tasks that have already been supported, such as expanding the target of small business electricity bill support (8th) and easing restrictions on urban regeneration seed loans (15th), by reflecting the voices of users. Starting with the establishment of the Regional Credit Guarantee Foundation conversion guarantee on the 31st of this month, the three-piece set of financial support that will be fully implemented, and the one-stop platform that will be launched on the 29th, the tasks until next month will be supported as quickly as possible by reflecting the suggestions of field workers.
In addition, the tasks to be promoted in the second half of this year, such as the expansion of accounts receivable factoring, the establishment of an integrated application procedure for employment insurance subscription and insurance premium support, and the expansion of interest-free loans for the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid, were discussed and it was decided to prepare for the ‘New Start Hope Project’ to be implemented immediately from early next year.
Deputy Prime Minister Choi said, “The timely implementation of the livelihood measures announced by the government and the perception from the people’s perspective are the completion of the policy,” and asked, “Please do your best in each public institution, which is the delivery system, to guide and spread the policy.”
