청년 월세 지원 신청방법The second phase of the monthly rent support project for young people, in which people can receive up to 200,000 won per month, has been launched. If you receive support of 200,000 won per month for one year, you can receive up to 2.4 million won in benefits. The first project to support youth monthly rent was carried out for one year starting in August 2022. Even if you received the first round of business support, you can apply again for the second round, so please apply again.
The Youth Rent Support Project is a support system to establish a housing ladder for young people to build assets. This is a system hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and applications are being accepted for one year starting February 26, 2024. You are eligible for support if you meet age, housing, income and property requirements.
Up to 200,000 won per month will be paid in cash within the actual monthly rent paid for 12 months.
And important!! If you change your residence according to your resident registration, you can receive support for all 12 months of monthly rent by applying for a change to a new lease agreement, so please apply for a change right away.
Those who already own a home or live in public rental housing are not eligible for this support. This is so that more young people can benefit, and if you are already receiving housing benefits through rental housing, you will not receive monthly rent support since this will be duplicate support, but please apply for and receive support for the work incentive.
If you are already receiving the benefits of the first youth monthly rent special support, you can apply again after the support ends. Applications for the second round of youth monthly rent special support will be accepted for one year from February 26th, so please apply immediately after the end of the period.
If you are excluded from youth monthly rent support, apply for the work incentive.
The application period is from 2024.03.01 to 2024.03.15 for income for the second half of 2023, and from 2024.05.01 to 2024.05.31 for annual income in 2023. The March application period has passed, so please apply in May.

If you apply online on the Welfare website, you do not need to fill out the monthly rent support application form, income and property report, and pledge form as they are considered submitted only with the information entered during the online application.
When submitting online, all files must be JPG images or PDF files. If you do not see the relevant supporting documents submission box, please upload them in the ‘Other Documents’ box.
* Representative applications can be made by a legal representative/a member of the same household according to resident registration (excluding cohabitants)/a spouse and immediate descendants/descendants who are not members of the same household, and the monthly rent is deposited into the young person’s account.
