First, drag and drop
One of the easiest things to do is drag and drop. If there is a video that I have already set, it is convenient because it can be applied immediately.
As you can see in the video above, after selecting a file from the location where the file is, drag the file as it is and drop it on the Slide. That way it will show up right away. Second, insert videos in order according to the menu
You have to follow them sequentially. Let’s figure out the order. If you press “Insert” in the menu at the top, there is “Video” at the far right. Click on it and two menus will appear.
There are “Online Videos” and “Videos from My PC”. Second, click on “Videos from my PC”.
A file search window will appear to find the file as shown in the picture above. From there, browse to the location of the desired file, select it, and let it complete.
As shown above, it fills the entire screen and comes out. Even if the PowerPoint size is not wide, it will be filled out to fit the set size.
The video controls appear at the bottom of the picture. After playing, you can also preview by moving the mouse left and right. If you press the right and left arrow buttons, it has the advantage of appropriately previewing for about 20 seconds.
Third, embedding a YouTube video into a PowerPoint slide
Since it is difficult for me to film everything myself, there is a treasure trove that can be used as a reference, and it is called YouTube. If there is no big problem with copyright, and if you do not distribute and use only presentation materials and do not share them, it is okay to use Youtube. To use these good contents, try the following method.
Second, you can do it in the same way as when you load a file on your PC. At this time, select “Online Video” from the first menu.
At this point, a pop-up window will appear to find a new source. You can find what’s on YouTube and get it.
For example, if you search for Honeysoo TV, the items in this channel will come up. It is displayed in the form of a tile, and if you make a selection here, you will go directly into the slide.
There is also a way to get it through a URL. First of all, go to YouTube and watch the video you want, take a look at the bottom. You will see a “Share” button.
The address of the video appears in the pop-up. Put the above address in the search bar to get the video.
In addition, you can also import directly from a URL via the “Video Embed Tag”. First of all, try connecting to YouTube. After logging in, you can select the video you like.
You will see a “Share” button below the video. Click to bring up a pop-up menu. The URL below is to get the source directly, but it doesn’t fit the embed source format, so you need to get the embed format source.
If you click “Embed”, the contents are changed in the pop-up window. Here is the embed source we need. A source like “<iframe…. >” appears under “Embed video” on the right. After copying all of this source as it is, paste it into the slide.
Once the video is inserted into the Slide, you can adjust the overall size using the mouse. It just doesn’t come out when it’s there. When you double-click, the resource is fetched from YouTube and the picture begins to appear. If you see the play button, try to check whether it is in the preview format.
